EMAC<\/a> & CSU proudly present the first edition of ON THE SQUARE.<\/span><\/p>\n WHEN: Friday, May 22nd, 2015 @ 1pm to 10pm ON THE SQUARE is a cultural, social, and musical gathering in a unique outdoor space; where warm weather drives spontaneous gatherings, hang outs, and interactions.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Our intention with ON THE SQUARE is to enhance this phenomena – paying homage to what the space and student life is about. With different activities influenced by the CSU’s Loyola Winter Carnival event, and a unique platform by EMAC for Concordia\u2019s electronic musicians & contemporary dancers to perform within, we hope this event serves as a meeting point for artists & students to share ideas.<\/span><\/p>\n In other words, ON THE SQUARE is not just a hang-out, but rather a fully fledged social gathering!<\/p>\n \u25ac\u25acON THE SQUARE will be hosting:\u25ac\u25ac\u25ac\u25ac\u25ac\u25ac<\/p>\n – A showcase of live electro-acoustics \u25ac\u25acMAIN SCENE LINE-UP:\u25ac\u25ac\u25ac\u25ac\u25ac\u25ac\u25ac\u25ac\u25ac\u25ac\u25ac<\/p>\n 1-3pm \u2022 Chillout :: SLV<\/p>\n 3-4pm \u2022 Electroacoustic showcase :: 4-5pm \u2022 Contemporary dance performances<\/p>\n 5-10pm \u2022 DJ Sets: OTHER ACTIVITIES: Throwing down some choons for The Electronic Music Association of Concordia.
